
Anu Uranchimeg
Piano Instructor
Anu Uranchimeg is a classical pianist, whose entire life has been connected with music. She has been playing piano for 22 years. She has been taught with both Russian classical music training and American music training.
Originally from Mongolia, Anu attended one of the most prestigious music schools in Mongolia called Mongolian Music and Dance Conservatory from when she was 5 years old until 2012. She graduated from Augustana University where she received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. Anu received her Master of Music degree in
Piano Performance at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX in 2019. She studied with Alfred Mouledous who is one of the few living students of world-renowned pianist Walter Gieseking. Anu has just received an Advanced Certificate in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at New York University.
Anu has been performing internationally, and has also received prizes and honors from international competitions since she was young. Anu has performed at the Lincoln Center in New York, USA; Unesco Theater in Paris, France; Conservatory of Music in Geneva, Switzerland; Passionskirche Cathedral in Berlin, Germany; Washington Pavillion in Sioux Falls, SD; Mongolian State Opera House and Mongolian State Philharmonic. She has performed as a soloist many times with orchestras such as Mongolian State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Mongolian State Opera House Symphony Orchestra, Mongolian Music and Dance Conservatory Orchestra and Augustana University Symphony Orchestra.
Anu has a wide experience in teaching students from the age of four up to adult students. She is experienced in both teaching private lessons as well as group classes. Anu is open to teaching any styles and genres of music.
