Piano and Voice Instructor

Collin O'Neill is a professional vocalist, actor and pianist based in New York City. Collin graduated Oklahoma City University's Bass School of Music in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Theater. As a classically trained vocalist and pianist, he is highly proficient in both operatic and musical theater literature. Having taught students ranging from the age of five to forty two, Collin loves meeting students wherever they are on their musical journeys. Collin focuses his instruction on technique, repertoire and curiosity. Collin's main objective as a teacher is to excite and inspire his students to exceed their musical goals.

Collin's most recent professional credits include the Broadway National Tour of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and Lyric Theater of Oklahoma's 'Titanic'. Collin has performed professionally in over forty-two cities across North America. At OCU, Collin focused equally on both classical and musical theater literature, performing in four mainstage Operas and nine mainstage musicals. In addition to mainstage performances, Collin performed two full recitals, one entirely of classical repertoire and other of musical theater repertoire. As a pianist, Collin began study in sixth grade, playing a multi-faceted range of repertoire from Bach to Philip Glass. In College, he began accompanying/collaborating with many of his vocalist colleagues along with playing as a rehearsal pianist for 'OCU's High School Music Theater' summer intensive. Collin's education included an extensive curriculum of music theory and he is intentional about applying that to his teaching in both voice and piano.
