Keys To Success provides private lessons on site and in students' homes. Students enroll for a semester of private lessons and an end of semester recital.
Enrollment is always open and students can enroll anytime and the fee will be prorated.

An additional fee of $20 is applied per visit to a student's home.
In-home lessons are available in Manhattan, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Dumbo, Park Slope, and Prospect Heights.
Each semester there is a recital and registration fee. There is also a recital accompaniment fee for vocal and woodwind and violin students.

A cancellation fee worth two lessons is applied to withdrawal requests made during the semester. A withdrawal request must be made two weeks before the withdrawal date to receive a refund for the remaining lessons minus cancellation fee. (No penalty is applied for a credit withdrawal.)
First-time Students are encouraged to take an introductory lesson with one of our teachers to see if there is a mutual fit before committing to the semester.
Each student begins with a trial lesson at a reduced rate of:
$50 for 30 minutes
$65 for 45 minutes
$80 for 60 minutes
After a successful introductory lesson, families can register for a semester of private lessons and the end-of-semester recital.
When registering for private lessons, students commit to a consistent schedule with their instructor and receive one schedule absence per semester. Subsequently, students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons and to give as much notice as possible when a cancellation is necessary.
All students are entitled to one excused absence (requiring 24 hour notice) per semester to be made up by the instructor. Students looking to cancel a lesson and have it count as excused should call the school at 929-288-1833, or email firstname.lastname@example.org 24 hours prior to their lesson time. A private lesson that is cancelled on the same day as the scheduled lesson will be excused only in the case of student illness, so long as notice to the office is given by 11am on the day of the lesson for weekday lessons, or 9am for weekend lessons; OR in the event of a verified emergency. A planned absence in observance of a religious holiday must be planned at least 7 days in advance by emailing email@example.com and will be counted as an excused absence.
Aside from the one excused absence per semester, any additional lessons missed by the student will not be made up. All lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be considered unexcused and will not be eligible to be made up.
Keys To Success designates a Make-Up Week at the end of the semester for the use of making up lessons due to excused absences, as well as creating other opportunities during scheduled days off to suit a variety of scheduling needs. Students should schedule a time for a make-up lesson directly with the instructor. Student cancellation of an agreed upon make-up lesson will not be made up or credited. In the event a make up lesson cannot meet due to availability, students and faculty should reach out to the school for assistance.
The school year is divided into two semesters.
Both the Fall and Spring semesters consist of 17-18 lessons (Depending on the day of lesson).
Tuition is due in full two weeks before the first lesson of each semester (Or pro-rated from date of commencement). If you need an installment plan, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tuition reserves you or your child(ren) a specific weekly time slot. Tuition includes private lessons and the recital fee is $45 for individuals and $60 for families (with two or more students) to cover performance hall rental and miscellaneous costs.
A fee of $40 will be applied to vocal student registrations to cover the cost of a professional accompanist at the semester recital.
Registration is for the entire semester and there will be no tuition refund for partial withdrawal after the first 14 days of the semester.
Tuition does not cover the cost of music or books. New students may register at any time.
There is a $35 charge for any check returned by the bank, as well as $50 for late payment made seven days after the initial due date.
Cancellation of lessons due to unsafe weather will be conducted online.
In the event of illness, emergency, or any form of absence on the teacher's part, all lessons will be made up within the same semester. Your lesson will be made up with either your teacher or another studio teacher.
Please be on time to all scheduled lessons! Lesson time lost due to student tardiness will not be made up.
Participation in the bi-annual recital is highly encouraged. Our teachers reserve the right to determine whether or not a student is adequately prepared to perform.
There will be no rescheduling nor refund available for the cancellation of a make-up lesson.
There will be no other refunds or substitution of lessons for student absences.
A quiet and free-from interruption environment is required for the teacher to have one-on-one lessons with the student. Parents are welcome to observe the first lesson.
The Studio requires 30 days notice for students terminating lessons for any reason..
