Kevin Lozano
Piano and Voice Instructor

Kevin Lozano is a classically trained vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and music teacher originally from South Florida.  Kevin received his Bachelors degree in Music Education with a Choral Emphasis from the University of Florida followed by a Masters in Vocal Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi.  While primarily a classical vocalist, he is equally at home in musical theatre and contemporary styles.  

 

Kevin has been a featured performer with Mississippi Opera for their productions of Carmen, Rigoletto and The Pirates of Penzance. He has performed at the Operafestival di Roma in Italy as well as choral engagements spanning from St. Olaf’s Cathedral in Norway to Carnegie Hall. He has also performed in a multitude of educational children’s theatre shows throughout the United States.

 

Kevin has taught in a multitude of settings ranging from private lessons with students from 6 to mid-20’s to working in K-12 schools as a choir, band and guitar teacher.  Kevin also teaches beginning piano. He has organized and directed multiple children’s staged productions.  Kevin believes that a foundation in music can help students to grow in all aspects of their development, giving them the confidence and skill set to tackle all sorts of other real world situations.
