International Institute for Young Musicians

Congratulations to Cole Murphy for getting accepted into the 2016 International Institute for Young Musicians Summer Music Academy at the University of Kansas!

International Institute for Young Musicians (IIYM) is a highly prestigious piano camp for pre-college musicians.
Students and alumni of IIYM have gone onto renowned music schools such as The Juilliard School, The Curtis Institute of Music, among others. They are also winners of some of the highest standing competitions around the world, i.e. The Chopin International Competition in Warsaw, Poland.

The academy offers many features, including workshops and classes (conducting, music business, learning the different parts of a piano, etc), individual private lessons, studio classes, an abundance of formal recital performances, and more.

Cole is 14 years old and currently attends Saint Ann's School.
He is a student of Rosanna Buchs.
