Located in Brooklyn Heights, on the north side of Atlantic Avenue, Keys to Success is a community‑based music school serving families throughout Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, and surrounding neighborhoods. We provide high‑quality music education for children, teens, and adults — with a clear purpose: to help students grow into confident, focused, and expressive individuals through consistent, thoughtful music study.

Woodwinds
Piano Lessons
Piano is at the heart of what we do. Our piano lessons welcome students as young as age three through adult learners, building strong musical foundations through technique, posture, reading skills, and musical understanding. As students progress, they develop independence, discipline, and confidence at the instrument.

Each semester culminates in a recital where students perform in a supportive environment. These performances are an essential part of our philosophy — helping students become comfortable sharing their work, managing nerves, and taking pride in their progress.
Guitar Lessons
Our guitar program supports students learning acoustic and electric guitar across many styles. Lessons focus on chords, rhythm, scales, technique, and musicality, while also encouraging creativity and enjoyment.
For families just getting started, we offer loaner guitars for introductory lessons to reduce barriers and make the first steps easy.
Voice, Cello, Violin & Woodwinds
Students can explore singing or instruments such as violin, cello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, and more. Our instructors balance technical training with age‑appropriate engagement, helping students build strong fundamentals while staying motivated and confident.

Voice students learn healthy technique, musical expression, and performance skills that strengthen communication and self‑expression. Instrumental students develop focus, coordination, and listening skills that support academic and personal growth.
Group Music Classes
Group classes offer a collaborative, social way for students to learn. Classes such as Guitar 101, Piano 101, and Songwriting & Music Production introduce musical fundamentals while encouraging teamwork, creativity, and peer support.

Performance, Community and Growth
